The NSW Government's plan and Council's alternative
What the NSW Government's plan does
- Up to 10,000 new homes, about 20,400 more people, in an area already among the densest in NSW
- Towers up to 34 storeys, and taller buildings across the whole precinct, not just at the stations
- Council's traffic study says the road network fails at about 5,000 new homes, half what is being zoned
- Council's study says delivering the schools, parks, library and childcare 10,000 homes would need is 'extremely challenging' on this land

1Scroll to the bottom of the page and open “Make a submission”.
2Tick “I am making a personal submission”.
3Enter your first name, last name, email, and suburb with postcode.
4Tick “I would like my name and personal contact details to remain confidential” if you'd prefer your name not be published. Your objection still counts.
5Under “Please provide your view on the project”, tick “I object to it”. This is the one that matters. Even if you support Council's alternative, you are objecting to the NSW Government's plan, and that is how the Department counts it.
6Paste your objection into the “Submission” box. Skip the file upload.
7Tick “I agree to the above statement”, tick “I'm not a robot”, press Submit.
